I remember that Kenmore upright. Someone that knew I left vacuums left one at my front door. It was red and had the old logo, but same thing. Something had happened to the brushroll (bottom plate looked like it had melted a little and no belt). So I just pushed it around the house, and used the attachments, until my parents made me throw it out.

Gosh I don't know, maybe 9. I guess that was my first full sized vacuum but I also had a White Westinghouse hand vac that was white with a black bag my parents got me from Bud's Outlet. Which was like a Walmart outlet store.
