It's like Christmas in (almost) July!

I still have quite of a few machines in storage at my parents house and I finally made the voyage this past week to visit, and of course, bring back some vacuums! Even though I already owned these, it still feels like making a big haul since I haven't used any of them in quite a while. I had to get creative packing the car but it worth it!

nice score with that hoover portable. does it have a cord reel?

When I got the suitcase Hoover the cord had been cut off. I took a cord from a Constellation and put on it, but I haven't bothered to wind it onto the cord reel. If I remember correctly, I didn't wrap it around the reel because I had to splice it to the old section and I didn't think that would hold up from being tugged and pulled. Otherwise I would have had to take the whole thing out and rewire it and I didn't know how to do that.
