Hello all I recently acquired a Hoover Electric Skillet Model 8600 without the cord and since to keep my self from becoming a hoarder I only keep things I can use, I cant use this without a cord. I would be eternally grateful to anyone who has an extra cord they sell/trade/gift to me! At this point I'd even relinquish my left pinky finger for one!! LOL! Thank in advance A.F

Hoover Cord/Temp Control

If I’m not mistaken, most of the 8600 series Hoover cooking appliances had a cord/temp control module that did NOT include the temp probe on the end. Growing up, my mom had an old Hoover electric skillet and I am pretty sure that’s how it’s cord was set up. I looked online and the eBay findings seem to back this up as well. Unfortunately, I didn’t see any of those cords by themselves, you would just about have to purchase the entire appliance just for the cord! DirtDeviler, do you think you could take a close up photo of the place where a cord connects to your skillet? That would help narrow it down greatly!
