is this a Patriot?

Yes, that's the current model being sold. They changed to a single stage motor called the ARC Engine, added the middle wheels, added variable speed settings for air cleaning, made the HEPA filter fit closer to the canister, & introduced the Sebo ET1 powerhead.

thanks for posting this info!!! wow those are some big numbers for a tank vac! I found this at an estate sale, if they sell it for cheap enough, I'll pick it up.

Hey

I actually had them mail me a information packet. It's $3250 suggested retail price. The air filter is $199.
The manufacturer of the Patriot left TriStar and started making Patriots.
I don't have one but it's a vacuum I'd love to own. Pounce on it.

I use mine to clean my store. My pal Ryan in Colorado got it from a thrift store for $15. He asked everybody in our vacuum cleaner collectors group if anyone wanted it, and I put my hand up. I love it. The S shaped extension Wands make using that power nozzle very easy.

the one I posted

sold today, I went there today to make a low ball offer....but the last day of the estate sale is usually 50% off...and this was....sold before I got there ( I delayed my arrival in hopes that it hadn't sold and they would 'deal')...sold for $75. Its okay, I was only interested in it for a really cheap price as I'm mainly an upright guy....but have 5 canisters already!!!

Cannister

I don't know if it's a cannisters maybe a large cargo van. You could drive it home.
The cheapest I've seen complete is $300 it was sold within a few hours. I seen one for $500 it took a week to sale.
You could store a few vacuums inside it.

Can you tell me

What would justify a 3295.00 price tag on any canister vacuum cleaner? Probably hand built, not assembly line. It isn't offered in 24 carat gold with jewel encrusted attachments, and it doesn't call you at work to remind you to pick up some bags on the way home. So what is the reason for the pricing? Anybody?

$3,295 USD for a Patriot?!?!

NO WAY would I pay that kind of money for a TriStar knockoff! I could buy 2 TOL Miele C3 Brilliant canisters with MORE features, better bags, better quality HEPA filtration system & has just as much suction & airflow & cleans just as well. Even the Aerus Guardian Platinum would be a better choice than that Patriot!

If this thing is aimed at the industrial market - this is why they jacked the price up. A business can afford it even if Joe Schmoe cannot. I would wager this is sold in catalogs or by pamphlets given out in janitorial meetings. A good cleaning company would clear $4 grand in one day more than likely, pennies to them.

A lot of stuff sold in business catalogs is stupidly priced, but I think businesses go for that "the more it costs the company the better it will be" thing.

If the Patriot was aimed for a commercial market-----the NSS M1 would be the BETTER buy by far!!!!A business would not likely Buy a vacuum such as that-and bear in mind many businesses contract their cleaning.

Hey

It's suggested retail price. They sell usually 1200-2000 exact pricing for a kirby door to door. If some idiot overpays for the vacuum that's his fault. The pig vacuums run $1800-$2200 so not 2 pigs or 2 Kirby's if we're going for suggested retail price. It makes consumer feel good they got a deal at $1500. I'd love one of those. The person who left TriStar and formed company builds better vacuums than tristars. You have to give credit one of only a few vacuums made in USA.
