Is anyone else having issues?

I keep trying to scroll through the threads and keep getting adverts such as the one pictured below.

I have not seen one on the forum, but I get them on Facebook almost every day. I've been told it's a virus/scam but I'm not sure. I just exit out of it.

I used to get them on other websites, but not on here. Usually if it comes up I assume it's a virus or something on the website and I keep clicking the back button to get out.

what is funny is that it happens on my phone but not the computer. must be the mobile site.

Download the free version of MalewareBytes. Run it a couple of times and let it quarantine anything it finds.

I don’t believe it’s the phone... I have an iPhone and have no issues with any other site but this one. I have also noticed that the amount of ads have also increased.

Now that's odd, I've never gotten that "Congratulations" ad on aw or Vaccumland on, however I have seen it that exact ad (and it's annoying for sure) on my iPhone come up on the Minneapolis Star-Tribune newspaper website as well as the WeatherUndergound.

I'm thinking it's an Apple iPhone IOS issue. It's never happened on my desktop or laptop computers, only my iPhone.

Google is pushing through more ads on certain pages I do know that for sure. Upgraded users don't get ads at all, so it's a non-issue for them.

If anyone knows more about that iPhone "Congratulations" ad, please let me know.

I am not having such issues on this site that you guys are facing... the AdBlock Plus extension seems to help me avoid these suspicious ads.

I don't think it's an iPhone only issue because I have a Samsung Android phone and got it too but not on here or the washer site. I used to get another one that was similar but was said virus warning and my phone made an awful beeping sound and I had to keep hitting the back button to get out.

I have been having more ads on here lately on my phone, never saw them before. But I'm not an upgraded member.

It’s weird because it only happens for me on here... I just downloaded google chrome on my iPhone and all seems ok so far so it might just be in safari. But then again I use safari and chrome on my MacBook Pro and all has been fine there so I really don’t know.

This has also happened to me! Last night, I was scrolling through the threads using Safari on my iPhone 6s Plus when it happened.
