Interesting California XXX on ebay

This is the third XXX I've seen with this fabulous and potentially original cylinder skin pattern.

Any one, Charles?, know about this variation? I sure would like one, as well as the XXX with the LX skin.

ugh, it's a bojack rebuild. I have seen a couple of these over the years. The replacement leatherette is just hideous, an insulting affront to the classic beauty of the XXX!
