The best way to apply paste wax with the B8 polisher is to purchase a set of steel wool pads, can still be found at an old time hardware store or maybe a good vacuum store will order them for you. Put the 3 steel wool pads on the brown hard brushes with the proper snap, get an old teaspoon or a 1"wide putty knife and put a few pats of wax on each steel wool pad. Work the wax into the floor with the B8 so it puts down a smooth even coat of wax. Do an area of about 10' by 10', let it dry, than remove the steel wool pads from the brushes and buff the wax with just the brushes, after you remove the wax put either the lambs wool pads or the disposable white pads on the brown brushes again and buff to a high shine. You will be amazed from the results.
