I want a vintage hand mixer!

I've been wanting a vintage hand mixer now for a while. It doesn't really matter when it's from or what brand, although I prefer either Sunbeam, Dormeyer, or a good General Electric one. I don't want to pay over $10 for one and I'm willing to clean it up some. I'm going to the flea market today to see if I can find one. Wish me luck! Lol If I find one, or possibly even 2 or 3, I will be sure to post pictures of my finds once I get home. I have 2 family reunions to attend next weekend that I have to cook for and that will give me a good reason to use them. Oh, I also forgot to mention that we have a red KitchenAid stand mixer also. It's a newer one. I'll post pictures of it too.

I Heartily Recommend:

The Dormeyer "Dormey." It is a little plainer-looking than some others, but it lasts and lasts and lasts. And it's a strong little mixer.

Available in White, Yellow, Turquoise and Chrome. Pink is rumored, but I haven't personally seen it.

I have two in White and one Chrome one. The Chrome one is my favorite. One of the White ones has been in my family since new, which was 1952. Still looks very good and runs like new.

Great Performing Hand Mixers

Among the best performers are GE's M 47 (a 10 speed model that can handle cookie dough) Hamilton Beach 12 & 14 speed portables perform well too. Sunbeam's "Burst of Power" models are great for making mashed potatoes and cake mixing. I have never used a Dormeyer mixer and none of my aunts, great aunts or first or second cousins owned that brand.

I have the chrome one it is very heavy but works like a champ there is a pink one on ebay i think buy it now price 24.99 dont quote me on that free shipping with box looked nice
