I think my Miele Platinum needs a new hose?

Well my daily driver and favorite vacuum is seeming like it needs a new hose. If I hold the hose in a special twist the powerhead won't short out, but generally it doesn't work very well. Are there any Miele dealers on here? I also have a Blue Moon and Silver moon but I really like the "Auto" feature on the Platinum. Thanks, KC

Try taking the hose handle off the hose, clean the contacts on the hose & put the hose handle back on. It's likely the brass rings on the hose itself are dirty & need cleaning. That's what is probably causing your issue.

@kacyc1 That's my favorite Miele ! The s344 hose has been "discontinued"
Q-tips and alcohol might be your new best friend . Be careful with the screws that plastic is brittle!
