@vacuumdevil,
Unfortunately I don't have a front loader anymore :( we have a top loader. I was curious because of the metal coupler on the end. I ended up using persil (our choice of detergent) and a year or so ago I bought Lysol laundry disinfectant. Ever since my parents have always kept it in the house. So the two combined with hot water in a bucket and my hands did the washing (the best I could). Only downside was the bottom portion was not cleaned as good as I wanted. But that was because I didn't want water getting down in there and taking forever to dry. But it does indeed smell very fresh. The brushroll looks metal, but it has a slight "bow" to it from the belt tension I assume? It does have stiffeners. I need some new belts. But it shined up VERY WELL. I saw your royal vid on YouTube of the service on a red royal. What amperage was that?

@stan

My YouTube is "johnsmith" I'm sure if you search the aerus guardian Platinum, you'll find it. That's the easiest way I can think of besides attaching a link. Who knows, maybe you've been watching all along lol

John,

I vaguely remember watching some of your YouTube videos you had up years ago!

Among them included a 1986 Royal 880, another 880 (from the 1970s) with a gray commercial bag, and a Kirby 513.

Awesome! And also, if you were talking about the models in your last post in regards to my comment about a red bagged kriby repair vid, I was reffering to performance reviews video. But I will take a look at yours as well! :D
