well its been 3 months after its release and i am just now hearing about the new kirby avalir. from what i have seen about it its a build up on the sentria. I wish they would have went a whole new direction with it if they woulda beefed up the 500 series motor and added disposable bags this thing would be a really nice 100 anniversary blast from the past way to celibrate. or maybe even going to the days of the vacuette modernize that puppy no one except collectors would know its not a new design. well Ive been thinking of scheduling a demo and seeing this thing maybe posting on my channel to see what it can do compared to my bomber kirbys let me know what you think dont forget to check out my channel on youtube where we show a new video every week!

Im for that Tom..

Something that does not weigh a ton,but is still metal, all they need do is make a D-50 and increase the power, it really would be fine just like it was, add a disposable bag and some good attachments with a better way of attaching them...think Bison but engineered so it wont break.that would be a Kirby I might buy, but then I haven't seen anything made in the last 30 years I wanted!!LOL

I can agree on the Kirby-make it lighter and a true HEPA bag system.I think the attachments need improving-like a metal collapsing wand-LOCKING tools for both the hose end and wand.GET RID of the present floor tool and replace it with TWO tools--a true carpet surface tool and a real hair bare floor tool.Bring back the Rug Rat style powered brush as opposed to the present Zipbrush.Or go all the way with the hose--electrify it and provide a motorized hand tool and a carpet powernozzle.Be good for places where the upright won't fit.Another idea for someone who has mostly hard floors--offer a floor nozzle instead of the carpet one-the bare floor nozzle could have castle cut front hair brush strips and the rear strips solid. No brushroll-not needed for bare floors.Outfit the Kirby so it can be used for dry carpet cleaning with Host or Capture carpet cleaners. An attachment can be made to work in the dry powders-then a dump type bag to pick it up.Host type carpet cleaners fill disposable bags quickly.A dump one would be better for this.
