Hey guys, I just wanted to say I got my mums Vacuum, as she now uses a rainbow D4SE, the good news is her vacuum works, the bad news it seems like it’s missing the bag holder and potentially bags may not be available for it any more, We did try previously using Bosch bags from Godfreys from a different model, but the bad news was because of that some crap got sucked into the fan and motor So I had to completely take apart the vacuum, then try and get all the crap out of the fan which I was successful thankfully so apart from the rainbow she uses, she also uses my GE Vacuum

Adam, that's a very nice vacuum! What I would try doing is using Miele FJM bags, Put the bag right onto the bag door tube since you no longer have the bag holder. Make sure the bag collar is VERY TIGHT on the bag door tube....if necessary, wrap the bag door tube with some packer's tape to increase the diameter so the bag collar fits on tight. One good thing about doing this upgrade is that the Miele bags are HEPA Cloth, so your filtration will improve.

Oh wonderful, I’ll probably give that a shot

Or if worse comes to worse, I could potentially go and try and have a hunt around for that bag holder

Oh yeah for point of reference this machine is iNCOMPATIBLE with Bosch UNIVERSAL bags so technically those bags are truly not universal
