Alright well i find scraping appliances and wire the way to easy money. Now what is scraping you ask? Scraping is the process by which one will take apart appliances and machinery sepperating them into piles based on the matteral. One will then take all materal to a scrap yard location and make money by selling materals to a scrap yard. i find a site called iscrapapp.com to be extreamly usefull just enter your zip code and the site then finds scrap yards near you allong with what they pay for the iteam. iteams are bought on a per pound basis. i find that creating an add on craigslist.org will work for getting appliances and metal. say something allong the lines of "free appliance and metal pick up. i will remove appliances and recycle them within all state standerds and guidelines. please contact for more information." i made an add like this and i constantly get emails from people. also a pick up truck or trailer is always helpfull. i would recomend making up buisness cards and flyers as well. happy scraping. please email if you have any questions at [email protected] thank you.

The scrap places out here are trying to protect folks from illicit scrappers that steal HVAC units from churches and LIVE wires from electric company substations and other places under construction. For the power substation-the scrapper will ony do it ONCE-then he gets killed. At the scrap dealers-they take a picture of you and the items you brought in-then they take a picture of your car-truck and license plates. Then you may get your check-but they often hold folks turning in HVAC scrap-esp whole units before checking with the police and recording SN's on the units.Sad that legitimate scrappers are being hurt by the illicit ones-BEWARE!!recycling may be good-but be careful. And can the appliances be fixed instead of scrapped-the scrapping should only be for things that just can't be fixed.
