The body pain has been kicking my arse for what seems like weeks of late, the weather did not help! I also replaced some ceiling fans and just that up and down step ladder, pissed the sciatic. I like the warm / fuzzy bed clothes, a pot of warm soup/ stew/ beans if its cold and a quite worn and soft nice smelling bed. Kills me to change out the bed, but every week, body likes it or not. Very worn very soft pale green sheets went on, looking forward to it!

Oh, I already tried that! Could only wish for a bath, shower only. Though the last few days, I doubt I could get out of a tub :(

David,

it's the damp weather from all the rain.
I use a heating pad when my herniated disk flares up, and advil.
I do excerises to stretch and keep it resilient.
Doctor says suregery as a last resort only.
So far, I've avoided it since 1995.
On some days, the arthritis in my toes is worse pain.

True Mike, the weather of late not helping, the changing of the barometric pressure always makes for fun. Plus the wind and rain keeps me from out and walking as much.Sitting is a killer.

David,

It is that barometer change. We wanted my folks to move to Palm Springs on account of my moms knees, but she wouldn't.
It's low here today, so a good day! 70 degrees now, and sunny.
I moved one older thorn less rose bush to that back yard, and put my yellow Julia Child rose bush in it's place to get more sun. It was planted below my large limelight hydrangea tree.
I even hoisted the 40 or 50 LB. bag of composted manure into the trunk myself at the Homedepoe'

my back pops out...

I blew my back out years ago picking up a forklift fork so since then it just POPS
out. I also have had kidney stones off and on for 30 years so my pain tolerance has gotten pretty high. Stuff that would put most folks down merely anoys me now and I have heavy pain meds saved up for a bad rock spell.
If my back just hurts I try to keep moving as when I stop it just gets inflamed more and hurts worse, have to keep it stretched out and a brace helps. If it gets worse I do ibuprofen and Tylenol together. If I don't have to function vicaden, but mostly I just tough it out and it takes care of itself after a bit.
If I'm really hurting I have my happy pills, oxy and percacet etc, but those are only for can no longer function days and haven't needed them for a long time.
If your really in pain best to knock it down early or it will overwhelm you and take over, plus it can drive up your blood pressure and other bad things. I've had rock spells so bad it blows through oxys and nothing will touch it till the rock stops moving.
Take care of yourself and you can get over it quicker and heal faster.

Thanks all. have had back, hip, knee, shoulder issues for 20+ years, of late the sciatic is very regular ass! Lower back keeps me from sitting much at all, keep walking or standing. I save the perc/ oxy for the bad days also. This week, hit them 3 days.

I used to make fun of my Aunt

For saying her back and ankle she broke in a wreck would hurt when it was going to rain or snow....now I know she was exactly right, I know for sure a few days in advance in my hands and knees, not fun, Aleve helps.

True! That early warning system is quite reliable! I was visiting my mother's senior apt one day, it was calm out,I had parked a block away. I stood and told her I needed to go before the rain, she replied I don't think so today! I made it 3 blocks before it poured. It's happened many times.
