How rare is this?

This was at the Rainbow store. He is willing to sell it but he wants a lot for it. I think it has everything to it and the original cord and still works. How rare are these?

I think 1949-1955, fairly rare, but NOT worth a fortune.

I have 3 model C Rexairs, I don't think I've paid more than $35 for any of them.

They made more than 700,000 of them. You see them on eBay almost constantly. Many people are very optimistic when it comes to pricing.
