You have a lovely collection there! I've always been fond of the gray machine with those delicious red bakelite ends. I have one similar, perhaps a 57? in beige and brown with brown bakelite ends, but the rear end of the skis is propped up on a set of wheels that mount to the skis via cast aluminum brackets. This was done to incorporate a cord reel. The paint matches, and appears to be a factory addition. It was my second lux, and for $2 complete with original tools it has been an excellent, quiet machine for years. I had a green 89 as a daily driver years ago, but it was the red and beige machines that really made my navel tingle, so I decided to concentrate on those. Do you happen to have any of the matching floor polishers?
