How it might have started

This photo was in an album my parents gave to me a few years ago. It is of me at about 3 or 4 years old. This would be about 1977. Even at that age I would go to people's houses and seek out their washing machine and vacuum cleaner.

I was wondering whether others have similar photos that might have given indications to parents of things to come!

Can anyone identify the car in the photo? (It's a British model) No prizes sorry.

It's a Morris Marina, my dad used to have one too, long since turned to rust, probably after one of the wheels fell off when he was driving it... :S

Oh a Twin Carb model too! That blue one was 'P' reg I think. We had a Maxi after that. Posh with five gears LOL.
 
Correct, ha ha!

As for the actual subject of this thread, I don't know how my "addiction" started, all I know is I've always been interested in Vacuum Cleaners from the time I started walking.

Yeah, that's a real problem in this country, pianos falling off buildings and planes and all that, and just happen to all land on Morris marinas... :P

How it may have started for me, well, I'll just come right out and say it, I'm a compulsive hoarder, with an interest in what goes on inside of electrical things too... :P
