Hot Dyson cord/plug?

Hello everyone, I have a Dyson DC07 and the plug and the end of the cord by the end of the plug get hot when I use the machine. This happened a few months back and I replaced the plug but it's happening again. My house was built in 1976 and has descent wiring. I was wondering if there was anything I should do are just cut my losses and stop using it.(I don't want it to burn down my home.)

It's your plug. See if you can re-attach it in a more secure manner. Or, feel free to get a new plug.

Replace it with a better gauged cord. Dyson uses cheap cords that can not hold up to heavy use. Remember, It's all a way for them to save money!
