My Hoover Zen canister won't power on; what could be the problem with it? Filters are clean, no clogs inside hose & wand

Does the power nozzle run, but not the canister motor? If the power nozzle doesn't run either, it's probably in the cord or winder mechanism. Were you using the machine when it shut off? The thermostat will reset once the machine cools to room temperature. If power head runs, but not motor of canister, it's possible one of the carbon brushes is stuck in the holder.

Neither the vacuum or PN turned on; not sure if the switch went bad

Update

The PN powered on (when I connected it directly to wall outlet) but I dont know if the Thermal Reset went bad? Where can I get a new Thermal Reset "switch" or Power button?
