I have a real soft spot for the original Hoover Vortex.
I have 5 now in my collection.
a V1500 Vortex black and white
a V2000 Vortex blue and white
a V2001 Vortex red
a V3111 1500w blue
a w2600 Whirlwind.
The Blue V3111 (pictured) was in a real sorry state when I got it from my local BHF shop. It was completely clogged from top to bottom, the filter has perished and split but still usable. It was also badly faded, so something of a restoration project. I prefer the S-Class filter set up as the Triple Vortex system wasn't fantastic and MANY motors perished over a short period of time.
The Red V2001 is in quite good condition and hardly used. I don't generally like red, and the only other red vacuum in my collection is the Electrolux Intensity.
Like all Vortex machines a lot of dust and debris escaped the triple vortex and passed straight through the motor to the Hepa post motor filter.
