VacuumLand – Vintage & Modern Vacuum Enthusiasts

Help Support VacuumLand:

Oh wow - just earlier this month I was clicking through old posts from 2008 or 2007 when the Vault closed and Hoover was tossing things out and collectors were scrambling to save vacuums. I think there was posts that mention people met him or something.

Tom, from Ohio

managed to get tons of them. Ed )Morrison's) did as well as Dick Pike. Ann Haines placed several in the museum in Ohio.
I'm fortunate to have about 25. Folks will see them all when The VCCC convention is in Scranton.
Before they gutted that area, I was able to procure the sign to the vault.

RIP Skip.

Hi John:

Thank you for sharing this, I remember Skip very well, I met him on my first tour of the Hoover factory in August of 1979. By the way, are you going to add him to the memorial book? I think, he and Stacy Krammes should be in there as they were extremely important to the V.C.C.C. And, if there is an obit on Skip please share it.
