Just was kind of curious cause it might help me figure out something, does anyone have a collection of these type of photos of the Hoovers from the Mid-Late 1990s to the 2000s? Theyre almost like a studio shoot. This was how theyd take photos for the boxes and ads I would assume.

I'm sure Hoover had a studio with some sort of bland, generic background. Think about when you were in K - 12 grades and had annual school photos. The professional photographer had a backdrop of some sort with bright lights angled a certain way. Many companies have employees get professional Head Shot photos. You can request a certain color backdrop or have one with company name poster setting.

I have always like Googling for images of Hoovers that I might want some day too. Here are some I have downloaded over the years. Most have a generic white background.

In the 90s and early 2000s, Hoover boxes often had a large color photo of a user, generally female using the machine and headlight would be shining if the model had a headlight.

I know they started with the Dimensions and Power Drive uprights, which is what I want to ask, if anyone knows if a photo like the aforementioned exits for the plum purple Hoover Dirt Finder. I saw a Dimension/Widepath styled vac in a purple color YEARS AND YEARS ago in a circular and im leading to believe more and more it was this one. If someone has a photo shoot type of photo of the dirt finder, a mystery ive been trying to deduce for 22 years might finally be solved!

So technically that color was their Deep wine burgundy and not really a purple. Hoover had many models in the Deep wine burgundy color over the years or very similar shade to it:

Hoover Preferred uprights (Elite Style direct air)
Hoover Dimension Dirt Finder above
Hoover Windtunnel upright, entire first generation for Standard, Plus, Supreme and Deluxe models
Hoover PowerMax Supreme S3530 canister
Hoover PowerMax Deluxe S3607 & S3610 canisters

Overall Hoover had very few purple vacuums over the years. There was a purple Convertible which many refer to as the Agnes Moorehead model.
There was a Windtunnel 13" upright
Windtunnel Self Propelled
13" FoldAway upright
Bagless Tempo style unit

Not much else

Could very well be....

however, some photos of this machine in particular sometimes look like they have the plum purple of the Self Propelled Windtunnel. Light can make a difference though. Chance is still there this is the vac I saw, might not be fully the color I remember.

The photo "room"

Back in like the early 2010s and forth, Eureka would release their manuals to the public in .pdf form, on the front page, they would always show like an actual picture of the cleaner, but with the background removed, sometimes the google search engine would glitch out sometimes, showing what the original photo looked like with it's original background, revealing that the photo "room" was actually some guy's front porch.... odd...
