Cool find...Yeah, it almost looks like Hoover's interpretation of a Sanitaire. I'd definitely say it was worth saving. I'm not sure when it would have been made, probably 1970s or '80s. I'm sure some of the Hoover experts on here could give you more detailed information, but I'm always glad when a vintage machine gets pulled back from the jaws of death.
