Hoover Power Drive

Hey, I went to many goodwills today and found a Hoover PowerDrive. It really needs a new brush roll, and all the vac stores near me said Hoover discontinued the Quadriflex brush and don't have them in stock! Does anyone know of a place to buy these brushes? Thanks.

Wow, I found one of those brushrolls about two years ago, but I can't remember where I got it. It may have been govacuum.com. I checked around a little bit and can't find it in my usual haunts.

I went to govacuum and they have a price, but no way to order it! I called Hoover and they have no humans to talk to! Only this computer telling me to visit their web-site for help. TTI was closed; I'll try tomorrow.

They aren't available from the factory anymore beacuse they don't want to breathe any more life into their older quality vacuums. All TTI wants you to do is buy their new plastic crap. It really makes me upset as they have been discontinuing other vital parts as well.

I'm really hoping an aftermarket parts supplier will start making them again as there are so many vacuums still out there that use them.
