That machine ran along side the Hoover model 305, which it's designed after. The NORCA (which stands for North Canton), was sold in Retail stores and had a four row brush roller with NO beater bars, making it 'different' from the model 305 the Hoover Salesmen were selling door to door (all Hoovers were sold door to door at that time). The replacement bag and cord are a shame, as the NORCA is an extremely rare cleaner - the original bag would have made that machine sell for hundreds of dollars on eBay.

I'm pretty amazed that you can tell that much about it from my lousy pictures. It came with my house and I've had it in the closet for 24 years. What did the original bag look like and would any one possibly be interested in it for parts? I'm an antique lover but furniture, not vacuums. I'd hate to just throw it out.
