i love that 1070 lamp john. much as it pains me to see a vintage machine not being used to beat sweep and clean, its actually a very clever idea and something that would be a fun conversation piece in a 70's themed living room.

I, too, hate to see things "happen" to HOOVER cleaners. This is not mine. It belongs to Tom Anderson. He LOVES the 1070. daily driver... the poor baby.
I have 4 myself...one came from him, too. He got this machine, didn'treally need/want it. So. he has this lamp proudly on display in his extraordinary HOOVER emporium/gallery/man cave. There's a HUGE story.. but, I shan't go into it here. It wouldn'tbe right. Still, it is a cute lamp. Personally, I'm a Lenox china lamp and Tiffany lamp guy myself.

I have one made by Anderson and Parker a few years ago. It's the U4001 full hood onvertible from 1973. I won it in the convention raffle at the 08 convention
