Also see them under the name of Hoover "Lark" here in the US.Saw one brought into the Greenville Sew&Vac store for repair-looked at the machine-indeed it was built in Britain.Mike was trying to have the customer trade it in towards another machine so it could go to my collection. From the Grimesland swap shop-the owner gave me a box-"Since you collect vacuums-you might be interested in this"Inside the old cardboard box was a red Hoover Lark outer cloth bag-and several inner paper disposable ones-was originally from the Washington,NC Furniture Mart.Would love to have the Lark that went with those parts! And the box had a Hoover Lark owners manaual in it.I strongly think that Lark could give any Oreck a good run for the money!Neat little machine!

Actually the condition is not to bad, certainly redeemable, and it seems that these are reasonably rare in the US. The machine itself is not cheap however and what about the shipping cost? $84 seems WAY over the top. Shame as it could be a good addition to someone's collection
