Hoover junior bag genuine?

I'm not bickering I'm just saying.

If you're "just saying", then perhaps you should rethink your choice of words. I certainly wasn't twisting yours, I was just disgreeing you.

Anyway, even 6kg is light compared to what else was on sale at the time. But they're bottom heavy so very light in operation and easy on the wrist. It's not uncommon for lightweight cleaners to be quite top heavy making them a tad awkward to use.

No it isn't none sense. It's not as light as a bloody feather now is it? It's not as though I said "Oh yeah it weighs like a brick." Now did I?

Was there any need for that? Drop the attitude. I disagreed with you, get over it.

Even though it's 6 KG it's still not as light as a feather.

Make you're mind up. Either you want to be blunt and literal or you don't. You can't flit between both in the same sentence.

There is no vacuum that is "light as a feather". Every vacuum has weight behind it, you have to look at what is considered lightweight by vacuum standards.

Does the Junior have a weight? Of course it does, it's a vacuum! Is it heavy? By vacuum standards, no.

@turbo500

Yes there was need for that. And no, I am not going to drop the "attitude." Yes I know you disagree with me, I never got worked up about it in the first place.

I have made my damn mind up. Iv'e always been blunt,(within reason of course) since when haven't I?

"There is no vacuum that is "light as a feather". Ugh yes I know this, it's fairly obvious but I was using that as an example.

"Is it heavy? By vacuum standards, no."

I never said it was heavy. It's how you were saying

"some weight too it" - that's nonsense. The Junior is one of the lightest uprights made."

That I wanted to make my point clearer.

"It's not as light as a bloody feather now is it? It's not as though I said "Oh yeah it weighs like a brick." Now did I?"

"I have made my damn mind up"

Well, I'm very bloody pleased that you've sodding made you damn mind up, but really, was there any need for that particular choice of words?

You could've just said something like "I wasn't implying it was heavy" or something instead of having a tantrum and avoided this whole conversation.

Like I said, attitude. You might want to work on that.

@turbo500

I never had to make my mind up. Oh yes there was. If you don't like my choice of words then don't read what I post then. Yes I could of said that but I didn't now did I? And i'm not going to.

I didn't have a "tantrum" I was just clearing up any misconceptions.

Nope. I don't need to work on my "attitude" it's staying as it is and that's final. Again if you don't like it then don't read my damn comments. It's as simple as that!

Anyway, lets get this back on track shall we?

Emma, you mentioned above about the wattage difference on the Turbopower - the 400w models didn't have the headlight. The 10w difference between the TP Junior and TP hardbag models was the headlight bulb. Motor power is the same, although the TP Juniors tended to have stronger suction due to the cloth bag having a larger exhaust surface area giving greater airflow.

Junior vs. Turbopower? Well, that would certainly be an interesting debate. I suspect that the Turbopower would likely clean slightly better, but the Junior's and Senior's had considerably better build quality over the TP and TM. The TP1 was almost entirely plastic and some of them were VERY flimsey. Certain models have a reputation for being "glass" models and prone to cracking, splitting and shattering (especially the red U2336).

So whilst the TP may clean better, the Junior and Senior were much more solid and could take more abuse.

A friendly tip - if you insist on that choice of language, you could end up in hot water. Personally, I couldn't care less, I can swear like a trouper, but this is a public site with a lot of junior members, so a bit of respect and consideration for other people wouldn't go a miss.

@turbo500

I know why theres a 10 watt difference.

Yes I know I could. Really? I never knew that it was a public site with different age groups..

I wasn't cursing though so no I shouldn't be more careful. I do have respect for other people but I don't have respect for people who have to go trampling all over me and twisting my words etc. Now that wasn't aimed just at you that goes for everyone else too.

Oh my, looks like I missed out on a major debate.

However ALL of you have missed ONE very vital tiny, almost miniscule little characteristic.

The Junior may well weigh 6kg and the Turbopower may well weigh a little bit heavier.

But they don't exude their total weight when pushing a long a floor. Usually.

And of course, each "weight" would change as to each height adjustment setting and resistance on a carpet.
