Hoover Junior 1354A restoration project

Hi guys. I'm new here and I'm from Switzerland and recently I bought 2 of my all time favorit vacuum cleaners - 2 Hoover Junior 1354a in mandarine blue. One is with belongings and one is with a missing hoover logo, unfortunately. Maybe someone has one logo left over?? I found the 2 hoovers per inet in Germany and now I'm waiting until the post packages arrive. I always wanted to be owner of a junior 1354a because they fascinated me since my childhood.

Now I have some questions. What do I have to consider for a restaurtion? I want to make them look like new again. Clean and shiny. If the electric motor needs some restauration too, I'll do my best then.
Can I put the blue dust bag in the washing machine or is it to delicate? What polish do you use to renovate the scratches on the plastic? Can somebody give some advices for a junior 1354a restoration?

Hello and welcome to Vaccumland, I just use some multi purpose furniture polish for mine such as mr sheen, I also use some cif or lemon cleaner for the little scuffs and stubborn marks that wont come off, The bag can be washed but put it on a low-ish temperature with some mild detergent, or do what I do and hand wash it in the bath with a fabric conditioner rinse to make it smell extra nice, other than that I can really think of anything else you could need, good luck and dont hesitate to ask anymore questions, theres nothing that you can ask on here that someone doesn't know.
