Hoover Dial-A-Matic U6041

I did a little cleaning on my U6041 today. It didn't need to much, I bought it reconditioned several years ago. I put a piece of air conditioner filter at the top exhaust and cleaned under the front cover. The light was really covered with dust, surprised it could shine LOL. I cut up an Oreck bag for the secondary filter under the bag. I don't like the power drive feature, so I taped the button down. I think the brushes need to be replaced on the beater bar sometime in the near future.

This is one you don't really see often. I always admired how "Automatic Power Drive" is written in a cursive font. You also installed your filter retainer wire upside down. I have the blue U6039. What don't you like about the powerdrive?

Looks spiffy - great work! I like the Luggage Tan color with Oyster White trim. I agree that it's not as common as others.
