The Vita-Vac is a rebadged Air-Way, made for Vita-Mix, best known for their blenders. They don't really make bags for it anymore, but you can remove the top of the bag in the machine right now, cut a Riccar type F bag in half, stick it inside the Vita-Vac, flatten the bag around the rim of the Vita-Vac's bag chamber, and secure it in place using the top of the old Vita-Vac bag. I believe the black collar on the black hose is supposed to cover a suction relief valve.
I have a newer Air-Way branded version of this machine, and it's probably my favorite canister.
