Hoover Convertible 1030

A few years ago i got this Hoover Convertible 1030 for $15. Its not mint condition but its pretty nice. I have a brand new attachment set, brand new pack of c bags, and even belts in the original pack, witch i'm reluctant to opening witch is why it needs a new belt. I'm only posting 10 pics at a time because my ipad freezes when i try to do 20.

We had the same Hoover when I was growing up except it had a tan bag. I like the green one.

Nice cleaner.

The "tan" bag was adifferent model... commonly known as The Brady Bunch Cleaner....  "Alice" used it on the show.  Never could understand how a successful architect, (Mike Brady) wouldn't at least have a Convertible w/ a headlight, lol.


 


 These tools came out WAY after that cleaner.  You'll see the "track" for REAR conversion tools.  These WILL fit,  but, it won't "shift" the motor to "high"... you'll get MINIMAL suction.


  Maybe look for a nice set of rear conversion tools.


  Nice vac, though.. great condition.

Nice find, it looks like it was hardly used. I would keep the original package of belts unopened. They are still made and old packages are pretty hard to find.

I just happened to spot the hose you need for that machine on eBay for $18 w/free shipping. Looks to be in pretty good shape, too. The tools you have should fit on it just fine.

Yep.

Those are the tools. (hose and converter).  The actual tools are universal.  I'd keep the sealed belts too.  THAT is the prized 'package'.

Thanks for the info on the hose, and I can assure you John that i will never open those belts.
