hoover constellation

Hi everyone!
My next vac that i am looking for is a hoover constellation! I love the way they look and float. I am looking for some background knowledge on these guys.

When were they first made?
Is there any that don't float?
What is the differences between the models?
What are they worth if you buy off ebay?
any answers would greatly help me out.

Model 82

Made from late 54 until 56 did not float, it was 2 tone gray, the 84 came out in 56 was a cream cream color and did float, the 85 was pink and cream and came out in late 57 to match the model 65 Convertible and on and on...All are good simple fun machines, I have most all of them, I will try to post some pictures.

After i had posted this, i realized that this post was supposed to be in the vintage folder, Not the super market folder

I just bought a constellation today off eBay. A 858 Orange model.
