What a bar-steward to dismantle, the older units are much easer to work on, the earlier fan covers where held on with bolts and would just fall apart when the bolts are removed, not on this one, the top cover and inner turbine cover are friction pressed together, what a nightmare to remove, I had to prize the two apart with a chisel and some very bad temper.

The turbine chamber itself is very corroded so had to have a good sanding to remove the rust.

The mains suppressor is faulty, it an inline type so it will be replaced with a comparable one.
