Good luck permitting I should be buying a HOOVER Brush Vac next week, so I was wondering if anybody could give me any information about them ?

Thanks.

I have 4 of them

"Big surprise". They have great power, a nice cloth bag, which emits no dust, and has a nice powerful brush, and, a nice long cord (cable over there). I use them on my stairs. There are attachments for them (don't bother). One of mine is the 'twist' called 'sidewinder'. Best of luck with your brushvac.

You are indeed about to get what I daresay is among the finest hand cleaners ever developed! In additiin to all the wonderful features John mentioned, they also use a "clean-fan" design in which no dirt or debris ever passes through the suction fan-a wonderfully advantageous feature where durability is concerned. Furthermore, they are stellar performers!

Here are my two, the S1083 (left) and the S1133 (right.)

Hoover Brush Vacs

All good information above. One attachment that is not often seen was a snap on bristle brush with maybe 1 inch bristles that might of been of some use on louver doors, etc. One of the att kits with the usual atts had a nice wall rack, but agree with above that it is best as a motor driven brush hand vac.I have customers who have used and liked for years.

My sister has the blck & blue later model, that I bought for our gran. It was surprisingly good a picking up and beat the Dustettes to a pulp!

If I remember rightly, there seemed to be a difference in belt sizes between the earlier grey model and the later black model.

You could also buy a tool set that had a pan-converter, flexible hose and a few tools. There might have been a wall-hanging storage bracket too.

As mentioned above, these are great little cleans. I prefer them over the Dirt Devil hand vacs. My great aunt bought one for my grandpa before she passed away and he still uses it to clean the cars and stairs. I grew up loving it and thinking it was so much cooler than my mom's Dirt Devil Ultra. I also have one of my own that I found at a thrift store, as well as teal Sidewinder with the attachments, and the newer gold Sidewinder.

Hopefully you get it!
