Since those belts are no longer made for those machines. I was told about the stretched convertible belt, when i had gotten my model 700. When i got my 541 I used the Eureka belt. I like the worn convertible belt on a pre war Hoover with the slightly better ball berring motor (aka the 700, 725,750,800 etc....), because it seems to have slightly more traction than a Eureka belt. But yet I used a Eureka belt on a Hoover 305, and I thought it fit well. so I think like I said...its preference...</blockquote>
