I recently purchased this Hoover 51 tank-type but I'm a Hoover convertible guy so I decided to sell it. Seems these are pretty rare from the searches I've done and it was Hoover's answer to the Electrolux.. The only missing attachment is the crevice tool...isn't that often the case?
It comes with both chrome wands, original hose, (yes the hose ejector button works as it should) upholstery, dusting brush and floor/rug nozzle. There is a bare floor brush included. The tool caddy is included. This machine powers up/down with zero bearing noise and you can maintain a conversation while it's running. I can send a vid of it in operation to any interested party. It's an impressive machine with great suction and the empty lever on the underside works as it should. The cloth bag inside is perfect with no tears, otherwise I believe the motor would have been compromised long ago. Please email me with any questions you may have to: [email protected]
I am confident whoever purchases will love this machine! BTW: I tried to attach a pic (I have many) but unsure if it came thru. Make me a reasonable offer please. I have not listed this on eBay at this point as I want it to go to a good home.
