Holy Crap! Eureka Retro Vac

Browsing ebay and this Eureka Retro vac is already up to $305.00 yowza, I saw these on clearence a few years ago for like 80 bucks.

they are cool looving vacs, but ive never seen a vintage one that looked like it.

From watching their video and seeing the bottom of the base-the base looked like PLASTIC to me-wonder if the fan is plastic too?Would be nice if the machine is REALLY all metal.Just from the video had the impression the bas was plastic.The floor shoe is chromed metal-far better than the plastic shoes.Please Eureka-Sanitaire-bring back some ALL METAL(the base and fan)uprights.
