I saw the new Hide-A-Hose system at the VacuFlo store today and the owner told me that most new instalations are using it instead of standard inlets. I had to bring back my Turbo grip hose (still in warranty) since it sounds like there are rocks in it when the handle swivels and he tried to sell me the newer stlye hose and the hide a hose system. I must say it seems nice, but I dont see how carrying from the closet to the inlet is that much work? If you had to schlep out an Electrolux or a Miele, they weight a minimum of 15 pounds more than my turbo grip hose. Is the idea behind them more convenient storage? I also dont like how they have the hose sock on them already. I dont know if this is an optional feature but I dont care much for hose socks because i feel like I'm dusting the floor with the hose as I vacuum. The Hide-A-Hose system is not able to be used with an electric power nozzle which I think might be a problem for pet owners. Anyone have the Hide-A-Hose installed in their house?
