As it's going to take me, and perhaps a lot of us a while to get the hang of things, let me ask a question about the library.

I see a lot of instruction books that I like, but aside from one or two, don't want to download, just read and move on. Can we do this? Also as I've said, I'm about to get a lot of ads, instruction books and whatnot out of storage. I'd love to share what I have, or contribute to the library. Do I send it to you via email, or upload it?

I don't mean to be a pest, but till I get my sea legs so to speak, I need to ask for help. These are great features and I will download some things, but not a lot.

Please advise.

By the way, the instruction book of the Electrolux LX is beautful, that I will download.

Thanks for the wonderful changes

Alex Taber.

Hi Alex, no worries, you ask as many questions you'd like. We will try to answer them the best we can.

The Automatic Ephemera library is project I began in the Fall of 2011. I now have scanned 800 complete documents, ugh I'm tired lol :-).

In order to read any document you have to download it. There is a small download fee, usually $1.99 or so depending on the size of the document to cover the costs over time.

Anyway, the majority of these items right now are more of interest to automaticwasher.org than Vacuumland. But I'd really like that to change over time. Those who lend me items to scan and return to them, get credit for free downloads over in Automatic Ephemera. I really think its time to fill the Ephemera library with Vacuum Cleaner related brochures, owners manuals and service manuals. These only can be copyright free items, which I can determine relatively easily. Alex if you email me we can discuss what you have and what might be good to ad to the library. This will give you a bunch of free credit to download any manuals that you want over time.

There is a link to AE on the Navigation bar at the top. See the photo below, in that image is a red circle around that AE link.
