Hello all

I was vacuuming today with my Autosave Henry (he's about 6 years old). I had it on normal (low) power pulled the hose to move him along & there was a loud sort of crack/pop noise. He still carried on running ok.

I swiched it off & had a look but couldn't see or smell anything untoward, however when switched back on the autosave switch doesn't work & he just runs on low power.

I take it this was the sound of the switch breaking? Will my Henry be ok to use as it is?

Many thanks for any advice.

Rutger,

I'd say, your switch went out by what you have said.To be safe,I'd not run the machine
until you have it looked at.Take it to a autherized Henry repair shop. Good luck.Henry's are great machines, very well built.I see them used on the show's on BBC.

Hello

Just an update. I bought a new PCB off E**Y. They've changed them now so that the circuit type things are on the other side so less likely to get covered in muck (the PCB's now also red not green).

I fitted it & Henry now lives & works on both speeds :-)

Cheers

Dave
