Hi everyone,

There's a 1955 Plymouth Belvedere that's in REALLY nice shape for $3,500 obo on craigslist. It's an all original beauty! I doubt it even has 100k miles on it.

If I do get it, my "dad" will be the buyer, even though I'll be paying for it and it will be mine.

I have some things for sale, some are before and after 1980 but it's silly to make separate threads.

FOR SALE:

Nice Kirby G3 with a practically new Techdrive (silent and it's original). I washed the bag, and cleaned it but it still could use a polishing. There's a few stains on the metal (you could get them out) and there's a minor problem with the fan (easy fix). Has one small scratch and one small scrape. $40 and shipping OBO!

Hoover Convertible U4127. In very nice condition with just a few scratches and scuffs. Little issue on the bag but it's very small and unnoticeable. Runs well. $29 and shipping OBO!

Hoover Quick broom parts (blue in color). I have the whole thing, but my evil brother totally destroyed it but there's still many good parts. Pick your part and make an offer!

Kenmore powermate canister *PENDING*. I will let you all know if the guy who has dibs on it doesn't want it.

Various Filter Queens. Will get pics when I see them. Price will be decided after I take a good look at them.

I may have more to sell later, I have to look and see what else I have!

I'll add pics of everything later, they're all on my old computer. :)

Thanks everyone,

~Alex

I'm possibly interested in the G3. Shoot me an email or give me a call 570-780-2939 and we can try to work something out

I'm Very Interested...

...In the Belvedere.

Please pack it carefully, and I promise to take good care of it once it arrives.

Seriously, nice vintage car. I have a soft spot for these and for '55 Dodge Custom Royals. I'd love like anything to find one with factory air - it was available on these cars for the first time that year. Compressor was under the hood, condenser/blower unit was in the trunk; Freon lines ran underneath the car. Cold air came out of vents in the rear of the car.

I hope you win this auction.

No bidding here (thank god), it's on craigslist. Still waiting for the seller to email back, he's going to send extra pictures and a short video of it running. The one thing I've always hated about vintage cars is that they didn't have air conditioning or power steering. I found out a few weeks ago that some cars from this year had both. I even watched a commercial for the 1955 Belvedere on Youtube, it even said it had power seats and windows! Also note the padded dashboard, it was their answer for no seat belts!

Nathan, the Kenmore is an older one from 1978 (think that's the year, if not it's very close). It's blue and the BOL model. Enough said, look at the pic lol. No reply from the guy who had first dibs yet...
