I am actually a collector of vintage lawnmowers!! But I acquired a small wheeled cylinder vacuum cleaner recently & would like to know all about it from you experts out there
Thanks so far, I attach more images, the plate gives the rating & 20-20?
The cylinder is quite small around 40cm long. I assume between the rating plate & the flex attachment there may have been a small square makers label as you can see the discolouration left by it.
Being more of a grease monkey with my mowers etc, I'm quite impressed with the small oil-way where you can lubricate the axle!! Cant imagine the wheels would ever travel far or build up speed!.
I have not been brave enough yet to put a plug on it, perhaps wait until you guys have given a bit more info before I try.
Any idea of date as well as manufacturer?
Crickey - that old ? Thats fantastic thank you.
Mine is an English model, remarkably similar called a "Supervac" made by Domestic Supplies Ltd of 30 Shoe St. London
