A 28 and a 29...and a box full of attachments for each...I think the bag on the 29 is for a 634...it has a disposable bag inside, but no zipper, it has a clamp like a shake out bag...10.00 for the 29, 3.00 for the 28!!!

The lady that ran this sale.

Has VERY reasonable prices...it started at 8 am, I was there at 7 and their were 15 people ahead of me!!!!

The 29 runs like new,

The 28 needs a cord...but interestingly, the plug on the 28 appeared to be just a fit all replacement...on closer examination, it turned out to be a genuine Hoover replacement plug, Both need new brush strips, but man what quality!oh to be able to buy something like this today...oh yeah, their are a couple of small bag like things that say Mothimizer on them, and they are made out of the same stuff as a Handisac...this I have never seen before!

Nice Finds Hans!

Can't beat the price either! You're right, the bag on the 29 IS a 634 bag, but the bag on the 28 is ORIGINAL! Great to have the attachments too!
As for the Mothimizer bags, you probably noticed a drawstring at the open end. Hoover dropped the metal Mothimizer around 1951 or 52, and replaced it with a blower connector for the hose. For mothproofing, the connector was attached in place of the bag, the hose was connected to it, moth crystals were placed in the bag which was then tied around the end of the hose. These bags were also discontinued after a couple years, but the blower connector was continued through the first couple Convertible models.
Here's a pic of my 29 with the attachments, including the Mothimizer bags, between the blower connector and the upholstery nozzle.
