I noticed about two to three years ago. Whilst at Asda that they starting selling cheap vacuum cleaners made in China. But using the old Goblin name. This is very old name. The products look cheap and parts will be an issue. The machine was the same as I remember under then then Argos Value Range. I did not buy it as a waste of money.

I remember seeing these in asda about 3 years ago aswell. They still sell them today, they have even expanded the range. From what I have heard the bagless upright is good and even comes with a spare belt. I might give one a go some time just to see what there like. I couldnt get over the fact that the upright came with a spare belt as I havnt seen that in at least the last 8 years. Even if its a totally different company, its nice to see the goblin name being used again. I think about 20 years ago morphy richards bought the goblin name and stopped using it. Maybe morphy richards then sold on the goblin name to asda who have decided to use it. Who knows. They look good to be honest. I would like to see a new goblin bagged upright but I dont know when or if we ever will. Still interesting as goblin were a budget brand but they performed quite good.

He is probably the most popular you tube vacuum member. He is a member of this site too. I just haven't seen him post lately.
