Hi all, I was just curious if anyone knew of any secrets to get to the brush roll on a Westinghouse Unplugged? I see two screws underneath at the extreme edges, but the hood still doesn't want to come off. It is a pretty fragile machine, and the hood is already cracked in two places and I really don't want to make it worse with my ineptitude. I have stumbled upon a video on youtube, but I couldn't quite follow it well enough to figure out where to go next. I just wanted to clean out the brush roll and get things all cleaned up under there.

If anyone had any suggestions I would greatly appreciate it!

Thanks!

I've...

Got the service manual, and I believe the owners manual for the Fantom Wildcat. I'll take a look and see if I can find any information on it. The Wildcat and Unplugged use a cogged belt though if I remember correctly, so it mainly depends on how detailed the service manual is. I doubt the owners will have any info.
