I have used it on hoovers, vintage vacuum cleaner rug plates etc. It can be trimmed or cut with a razor knife etc. It has worked well for me. One side has an adhesive side, just make sure the surface you put it on is pretty clean, by scraping the old off first. PR-21 Bud
