But where are these new Orecks being manufactured? Since Oreck moved to Cookeville, Tenn. and acquired the floundering Halo, more and more of their production has moved overseas. I see Oreck even has a new compact canister which I'm sure is manufactured in China now too. While the new models may be better in terms of performance, it's a shame this once-proud American company has now outsourced most of its manufacturing. A sad sign of the times....- Hershel
