Thats about how much I paid for my Legend II without the attachments, And when it showed up it had bad bearings :/

I beg to differ....

Nathaniel, the kirby should do an excellent job cleaning, and they are one of the simplest machines I know of to repair.(as easy if not easier than orecks.)If you think it is not cleaning well check: Brush length, brush adjustment, rug gasket, bag, belt, nozzle seal, and MAKE SURE you adjust the height correctly every time you turn it on. And as with any vacuum don't 'hurl' it across the carpet like your gunna be late to something, push it back and forth at a reasonable pace. But, some people just don't like certain vacuums, thats just your opinion and if you choose to believe that way it's your choice. =D

Kirby Legend II

I absolutely LOVE my Kirby Legend II.The only thing I don't like is it doesn't adjust right to my carpet. It is either to close or to high.. However I think it is the berber carpet and not the Kirby, because it seems all my kirby's do the same thing. The only Kirby's that stay sealed to the carpet is the G series but then you have to use the tech-Drive or it is like pushing a tank... Dan

The Legend II is a GREAT machine. I bought my refurbished 5 or 6 years ago for $99.00 plus tax, and have never had a single problem with it, best vacuum I have ever owned.
