Fixing a Cracked Convertible Base?

Is there any way to fix a crack in a Convertible base? It's a hairline crack by the brushroll on the end with the square notch. Still works perfectly and I'm not sure this would even hurt anything...just curious. Rest of the vacuum is nice.

You might try JB weld or something similar. Pictures might help.

Ahh, Yes!!

VERY common problem with the newer plastic-based Convertibles! I own two myself and both have the same problem! So far, I have had the best success with hot glue and rubber cement. Hope this helps!
